Lots of things to update this month. I think it is time to admit and accept that Cash is growing up. Tear!!! His favorite foods of the moment are:
Bacon, turkey sausage, Pb and j sandwiches, Cantaloupe, watermelon, frozen peas (still frozen) and he has always loved salmon, but I forget to list this. He is back in love with avocado if it is very green and firm. Too mushy and he won't eat it.
His favorite activities lately is turning on every fan in the house. He walks from room to room and says, "oh no!" and flips the fan on. He also has started telling us when he has a dirty diaper. Not every time, by about 70% of the time. We bought him a little potty and have been very casually introducing it to him. Nothing too exciting has happened but he does like to sit on it. Cash also has been into waving bye bye to everything!!!! "Bye, tractor!" "Bye, truck!" "Bye, bird". It's pretty darn cute.
His vocabulary is expanding a little more this month, too. He now says
Dede, Katie, dog, bird, drive, tunnel, night night, shark, and turtle. He also started calling his toots bubbles. When he toots, he points to his diaper and says bubbles... Don't ask me why. He likes to point out every mommy and daddy when we are out in public. Actually any guy is a daddy as every woman is a mommy. Oh, and if his hands get too dirty he will demand that they are cleaned. He likes to use napkins to clean his hands and mouth. It's funny to watch.
Cash has been loving his tunnel and new tent. Puzzles and stickers will keep him entertained for a while. His Mr. Potato head doll and app on the iPad are his fav new toys along with the app Endless ABC. He will sit there for 30 minutes working on his letters.
All in all this month has been fun! Summer is winding down and we are preparing for Walker to get here. Cash points to my belly and kisses it when we ask him where his brother is. We have been reading him a Big Brother book and this week Cash received a little baby doll. He will hold it and kiss it and give him his bottle. It's so precious!!!
