Amarillo in town!

Yay!!!! Bachan, aunt jan and aunt bobby are in town with Katie and Jenny Claire. Friday we set up all the aerobeds. 

Cash tried them out. Check out his fire truck! He loves it. 

Saturday morning Jenny Claire and Cash played a new game the aunts bought him. 

And he played with his new cars and traffic signs. 

"Baba" and Biscuit. Cash has a hard time saying Bachan. 

During Cash's nap, Walker enjoyed swinging. 

Walker loves Nutrigrain bars. He scarfed it down! 

After all the afternoon naps, we headed outside to hang in the pool. Amarillo went with Katie for her first dress fitting so we were killing some time while they were away. I kept telling Cash his doesn't need his shark puddle jumper, but he wouldn't stop asking for it, so on it went. 

Walker loved it, but would not stay in the pool!

Seriously this kid will not sit still. 

The pool was pretty slippery and Cash kept getting a wedgie every time he fell. Haha! 

And then we enjoyed some watermelon. 

Even Walker chowed down on it. 

Everyone is back and the kids are asleep. We are watching Philomena and hanging out. 

Walker 8 months

Can you believe it?! 8 months. So crazy!

Little Walk Man is already asserting himself. He knows what he wants and when he wants it! Lord help us during the toddler years ;). He has stopped waking at 5 am, but now is waking in the middle of the night. The Pediatrician said he doesn't need anymore food at night so we are trying to let him cry it out. Some nights it works, others I have to get up with him. He has started to open his mouth wide and lean in to give you a big slobbery kiss. It's the sweetest thing ever. He is good at eating solids. He still eats baby food, but daycare gives him small pieces of food during the day so he can practice feeding himself. Walker still has no teeth! I keep checking for them, but he just has pink gums.  No stats yet for this month, but I'll update when we go to the dr.

Our weekend

Friday we spent the early evening painting in the garage. 

Then we went to grab a low key dinner at Sandy's. 

Saturday we waited for the Kolanski's to arrive. Cash worked on his puzzle 

And walker worked on his crawl. He is getting faster and faster! 

You will find him in the weirdest spots. 

He even is sitting in the big high chair! Walker tried blueberries, watermelon and Cheerios. 

Wes picked up a pin wheel for the yard because cash just loves them. I need to show y'all our landscaping! We are waiting for grass and then I will post. It turned out really nice. 

Tom Jenna and Callie came to stay and I don't have a single picture. Jenna sent me a couple of Callie and Cash playing.  We went over to chad and Nikki's pool one day and then bbq'd the other. Great times and the kids had fun together. Walker was a teething monster all weekend. Poor little guy!!! 

We are hanging around the house listening to the torrential down pour! We need the rain!

Cash is quite obsessed with M&M's and calls them "balls". A while ago Aunt Jan sent us these outfits for the boys when she went to New York, I think. I put them away because at the time they looked so big! And now, here we are, and they are the perfect fit. Man, time flies! I wanted to a quick picture before school. 

This happened.

And back to separate corners. Ha! Walker is thinking," make up your mind!" 

I recently bought Walker a new toy that crawls around because he loves to scoot. Cash thought it was so cool that "baby had a big turbo".  So he got out his turbo to play with. 

You can't see Turbo, but Cash was telling me turbo was driving all over the town (the pillow describes places in Austin). 

Anywho... TGIF!!! We are looking forward to having Wes's old roommate and wifey come in town. They have cute little Callie that we haven't seen in forever so it will be fun to get all the kids together.

Walker is army crawling all of the place! It's only a matter of time that he will be on all fours and traveling everywhere! He also is going through quite a growth spurt, eating more solids during the day and taking a bottle at night. He still downs his morning bottle so you know this guy is hungry! 

He loves watching Wes dry his hair in the morning. It's so funny! 

Saddest thing ever!

I was such a bad mom and forgot Hank and Two at daycare yesterday. When it was ready to go to bed cash asked me, "where's my hanks?" Ugh!!!! I felt awful about it. I distracted Cash and he got into bed without a fight, but when he was finished playing and ready to sleep, I could here him in the monitor saying,"my hanks! My hanks!".  It was in the sweetest little voice, which made me feel worse! Today I made sure to grab both Hanks and this is what Cash did when he saw them. 

He gave them hugs. Omg I can't handle it!!!
