Our little elves

I love kids in pajamas.  Especially holiday pajamas.

There is something about Walker in this picture that just get to me.  I love this little man.

Katie and Joe gave Cash this cool pirate bath toy where you make different scenes.  All of the pieces are foam so they float and you can put the pirate bath squirters on top  It took a couple tries for Cash to understand how it works, but now he thinks its so cool.

And a few more pictures of Walkie helping with the dishes.  Which basically means he takes out everything I put in to wash.

Cash's big boy room

Some before pictures with all the new stuff I bought for Cash's room.

And the after pics:

I am really pleased with how it turned out.  Cash was very excited to hang out in his brand new room!

Thanksgiving 2014

We went to the UT game.  Horrible game, but still fun to go.

My dad and Mary joined us

The kids stayed behind in Poth for the weekend with Melissa

Walker 14 Months

Walker is 14 months old!  He is just growing and growing!  He is officially walking!  Bananas, blueberries and fishsticks are his favorite. Walker also likes saltine crackers and fruit snacks.  Music still puts a smile on his face and he will sway back and forth.  Walker loves the hair dryer and "fixes" his hair every morning.  Two more teeth have poked through so his little smile is filling out!
I am having trouble uploading my pictures, but here are some from Melissa and Larry's this weekend.

3 years old

Cash is three years old today.  THREE YEARS OLD PEOPLE!!!!  How in the world has the time by gone so quickly?  We have had a blast celebrating this special day. It started out with Cash's birthday at the Thinkery on Saturday.  We had a great turn out and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Everyone one got to make slime and that was really cool.  Each child picked out the color of glitter glue they wanted to use and then they sat down and followed the instructor and made their own slime!  Cash chose purple.  That kid knows the way to my heart ;)

Cash had his school friends

and his neighborhood friends come to help celebrate with him.

And then it was cake time and it did not disappoint!

The rest of the weekend we hung out with Amarillo crew and did some Christmas decorating.

And today we celebrated with a lot of yummy treats.  We started the day off with opening presents and a donut breakfast before school.

Both Cash and Walker immediately started playing with the cutting fruit and veggies.  They are wooden pieces stuck together with velcro that they "cut" using the wooden knife.  it came with a cutting board, too.  Such a fun gift since Cash loves helping in the kitchen!

 Picking out their donuts

 Walker was very excited

And then frozen yogurt before the boys played at the galleria.

Cash Man,
You are such a sweet and fun boy!  I can tell you have such a giving and tender heart.  You already care about others and want everyone to be "otay".  You give the best hugs and sometimes will tell me "I lub you".  You are starting to say the funniest things.  The other day you told me that I broke your heart when i told you not to roll out the entire roll of toilet paper.  And then one night I was singing along with Jake and the Neverland Pirates and you touched my shoulder and said, "Mom, just watch."  Hahahahahaha!  You still love your big boy bed and your Hanks.  Currently you are obsessed with Paw Patrol and Ninja Turtles and your imagination is really starting to take off.  I love listening to you play with your figurines and cars.  Walker wants to do absolutely everything that you do, which is pretty darn cute.  Sometimes you are patient with him and sometimes you just want to be on your own, but I can tell you will be close.  I am so proud of you little Cash Man!!!  You are so special to us!

love,
Mama

The rest of our weekend

Saturday afternoon we bounced between playing inside the house and outside for a about 20 minutes before I would make everyone come inside.  It was still so chilly.

Sunday morning, Walker did a little Christmas shopping...

And took important calls in the play area.

Cash hung out inside the tent and played with puzzles.

We also found his shark night light that Dede bought him a long time ago.  He was so happy.  We sat in his room for about 5 minutes while he turned the lights on and off to see his "new shark".

About 30 minutes after the boys finished brushing their teeth, I found walker in the bathroom.  We keep the toothbrushes in the top drawer.  I cannot believe he can get them out.

After getting the boys ready, we read books and listened to music in Cash's room.

I taped down butcher paper in the garage so we could do a little artwork.

And the rest of the day pretty much looked like this:

I think all I said (maybe screamed a few times) on Sunday was, "be careful!" and "play nicely, please!" "don't hurt your brother!".  Oh my gosh... they wrestle all the time.
After nap, we invited over the Green boys to watch Planes, Fire and Rescue.  They love the movies just as much as Cash does.  All the boys played well with each other and Walker just hung out with the big kids.  Kristina and I drank wine and ate popcorn :).  I wish I had a good picture of all four boys, but it was a little hectic.

Happy Monday!  Amarillo is coming in town this weekend for tree decorating and Cash's birthday!!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!
