School pics and weekend recap

Cash loves his class activities.

He is making friends, too. When he first began this class, we would constantly chew his collar and was so anxious some days. Now, he gives hugs to his friends and his collar is dry! He is doing really well

Walker is doing well, too. A few kids were transitioned to the 3's, and his behavior has changed dramatically. The teacher said the vibe of the entire class has changed so that has been a good development.

Donuts on Saturday

Ian came over for a play date

Cash brought out the tractor

Sunday, Cash S. Came over to play. He is a sweet kid.

Rest of the weekend

Walker being Walker.

The cutest thing ever!

The boys did this puzzle and asked me to come in the room with my eye closed. When I opened my eyes Walker yelled "surprise!"  Haha!

Sunday on our way to get donuts:

Cash insists that he gets in the car himself now and it takes him forever!!!! Wes's truck doesn't have running boards so he literally crawls in however he can

Then off to the grocery store.

And ending the trip with buddy bucks.

Cash working on his letters

The daycare director sent me this picture of Walker. He got sent home yesterday bc he has been running a fever and while he was waiting for me to pick him up, he was coloring in her office.

Llano crawfish boil

The Shrouts invited us to the Llano crawfish boil. It was so fun!!

There was live music

And carnival games

The kids loved the frog game. And they were pretty good at it!!!

With their winnings.

The pirate ship bounce house was a big hit

Then off to darts. Cash was first and he got one balloon!

Pictures of the boys I will probably post in their year book

Walker---- ahhhh--- I just love him!!! This picture makes me cry from laughing so hard. What a heartbreaker.

Lately

Walker is so ready to potty train, I just have to bite the bullet and go for it.

On our walk yesterday we saw a caterpillar and Walker wanted to know where it's mommy and daddy was. He is really into that lately--- he has a baby bear and daddy bear, he loves to rock his baby Bryce to sleep and hurry to take care of him when he "cries" and he thinks every big thing is the Daddy version of it. For example, there was a half moon yesterday and Walker called it a baby moon and wanted to know where the Daddy Moon was. Walker saw a picture of a big turtle and he called it his Daddy turtle. It's pretty darn sweet!!!

While I was in Alabama, the boys and Melissa went to the zoo and for a boat ride to Ski Shores.

Hulk bank

Wes bought Walker a Hulk bank and it is the most prized possession of Walker's. He is so proud of it and shows it to everyone. He has already filled his "tummy" with coins.

School pictures-

Walker eating spaghetti- side note: he loves this soccer shirt from school. He is very opinionated about what he wears and I have to talk him out of wearing this shirt every day.

Cash has been doing well with his lessons and being patient and taking his time completing them.

Birmingham

I was able to visit Joe and Katie last weekend and had the best time!

Friday we went to eat the most delicious pizza at Slice.

And Popsicles!

Saturday we went to Samford, where Joe teaches. The campus is beautiful!

Then we headed to hike Red Mountain.

We made it to Grace's Lookout

On our way down we crossed this bridge to a treehouse.

It was a little shaky! But so pretty!

We ended the day with a fun dinner out at Melt and then delicious ice cream at Katie's favorite place. Sad there are no pictures.

Sunday before my flight we had yummy Thai!

I can't wait to go back. It's such a cool city and there are so many new restaurants and shops.
