Some pictures from this morning

The changing table can either be fun or a nightmare. Here are some of Cash enjoying his morning hanging out and of Raley getting in some tummy time while Cash plays in his activity gym. Raley loves his nursery. And then the last one is of Cash finally settling down for a nap. It only lasted for 20 min but hey.... I will take it!

Bath time

We have conquered bath time with Cash! He usually loves the water but the second we take him out..... Holy moly! Here is what we do every night at 8:30 to ensure cash completed his day with some Zen time in the bath :)

1. Steam bathroom for approx 5 minutes.

2. While room is steaming I set out his pjs, new diaper and his blue hooded blanket. He loves that blanket! Dede suggested this and it works so well!

3. Wesley will get his bath tub nice and warm and I will undress him and bring him to the bath

4. He loves getting clean and having warm water poured on him. He is so funny!

5. After he is nice and clean, Wes quickly picks him up and wraps his hooded towel around him to keep him warm.

6. while Wes dries him off I get the hair dryer and warm up his pjs and the adjoining room. This has been the step that makes all the difference!!!

7. Wes brings him to me and continues to blow the warm air on him while I apply his lotion and get him dressed and snuggled into his blanket.

That's it! Hahaha. It looks like it takes us forever but really it is only 10 min or so. Cash loves the bath so much I would love to have it last an hour :)

1 month check up

Here are the stats from his check up this morning. We love our pediatrician, dr Danielle grant. Her office staff is always so friendly and professional as well. They commented on how well Cash is growing and how he is filling out ;) we are up to 10 lb 10 oz! Below are his stats from all of his visits so you can see his progress. Sorry they are sideways

Christmas night with papa Turk and memaw Mary

We spent christmas night in McQueeny. Cash made the rounds this weekend, but he did so well. we enjoyed biscuits and gravy and yummy pastries Monday morning. Love you guys!

Cash meets more family

Here are some pictures of the new family Cash met this weekend. His great grandma and grandpa and his third cousin Harper! Harper was born 9 days after Cash and she is so tiny! We love her to pieces. Also, aunt amanda and uncle drew got to hold me for a little bit. We met many more family members but I was bad and didn't get many pictures.

Hi ho hi ho it is off to Poth we go!

I used to be able to say that I am a really light packer..... Well, i guess after Cash we wont be able to say that anymore. We loaded up and completely filled Wesley's truck for a 1 1/2 day trip to Poth and McQueeny. We started on Saturday around 9:00am and by 12:15 and five bags, a cooler of breast milk, swing and box of diapers we were set!!!!! I know I know, we overpacked but I couldn't stop adding stuff to the pile.

It is almost Christmas!

Cannot believe its the holiday season. Tomorrow cash will be four weeks old. It is hard to imagine our lives without Mr.Man. We love you Cash! Hope you have a wonderful first Christmas!

The last pic is of bobby bones. Local celebrity that Katie and I are obsessed with and talk about all the time. Wesley claims to not be a fan but he sure does know a lot about him ;) Wesley saw Bobby's picture in a magazine while getting his hair cut and sent it to me. What a good hubby!

Week with Aunt Katie

Where do I begin? Katie came in town to meet our little guy and we had so much fun! It was a week of many firsts. We went on our first extended shopping trip (6 hours), ventured out to our first restaurant, (Maudie's in the galleria... Yummy!) went on our first neighborhood stroll in my awesome BOB stroller and last but not least survived our first diaper change in the car where Cash peed and pooped AFTER I took off his diaper. don't worry. We didn't get pics of that, but we died laughing. Katie was so helpful during her stay. She watched/fed cash while I showered or cooked dinner and helped clean up around the house. We are going to miss her so much :( I have truly enjoyed this week and will treasure these memories!
