Sunday with Uncle Snick and Aunt Jenny

Cameron and Jenny met us for dinner and drinks Saturday night. Sunday we had a delicious brunch at Cafe Blue and then enjoyed some time together before they headed back to Dallas. Cash loved swinging in his new swing with Jenny and he also did some lounging in his chair laughing at Cameron. We love having them and enjoy watching Cash with his family. Sweet memories...

Cash's teacher sent me this picture of Jenna and cash playing on Friday. Later that night we met Chris and Myndi for dinner at Flores. I was bad at taking pictures, but we had a great time!

5 Months!!!!!

Dear Cash,

How do I even begin to describe how much I love you?! You have brought us such joy and love the past 5 months. Every day I look at you and my heart swells with pride. One of my favorite things is watching you laugh at your daddy. He sure knows how to get you going and that melts my heart every single time. You get a kick out of listening to his duck calls, which drive me crazy, but your laugh is so contagious that I forget about it.

You love talking to us and telling us all about everything. You squeal with delight every time you see Sophie and Raley and it seems like you could watch them for hours. They are already your little BFF's and I know this bond will stay with you forever and hopefully you will love all animals the way I do :)

I love that you are starting to explore everything. You grab everything within reach and either stare at it or put it in your mouth. Starting baby food has been so much fun. You have liked everything except for green beans so far, but we will try it again.

You love your bath time and I can't wait until you can sit up on your own and splash around. The bouncer is still a fun go to spot for you, but you are getting so big that it might not be the same next month. The exersaucer and rolling around on the floor are also things you enjoy. You are getting so strong and can roll all over the place and I love it when you sleep with your bottom in the air.

We love you so much and cannot think of our lives without you. I can't wait to see you after work and we can celebrate by playing with puppies and eating bananas!!!!

Sweet Peas

We tried green peas tonight and as you can tell, Mr. Cash just loved them! He also has started to enjoy the teething toys that are chilled. He wasn't feeling them until this week. Maybe they were too cold? They are the perfect size for his little chubby hands and I can tell it gives him some relief.

Saturday FUNday

We had so much fun on Saturday. I asked (begged and pleaded) Wesley to come running with me while I pushed Cash and he did! I was so surprised and so excited. We packed up and headed to the galleria where there is a running trail. Afterwards we walked to Panera Bread and had a yummy brunch then headed back home. We got cleaned up then went out to run some errands. Once we were back home, we grilled dinner and drank wine on the back porch. We really enjoyed our Saturday and we have to do it again soon.

Greyson is here!

Our friends finally welcomed Greyson James into the world on the 15th.... 1 week late... Poor Christi! He is absolutely precious. We took them dinner Friday and took turns holding him. He has the darkest hair and chubbiest cheeks! I can't wait for these boys to grow up together.

Hunger Games

I finally saw Hunger Games. It was awesome. That is all. :). Here is Cash enjoying some apples.... He is nakey bc he enjoyed his apples very much and they were all over him!

Fun day

The morning started off cuddling with the puppies. Then we went on a run using our BOB stroller, which I love!!! And then we ended the day trying out some prunes, which Cash loved!

Long day shopping!

What a day! We were out and about all day enjoying our time with Dede. Cash just hung out and enjoyed looking around at all the new people and places. His precious pirate outfit is from Dede..... She spoils him rotten!

Baby Lola

Our friends Candice and Austin just welcomed Lola into their lives April 3. We were able to drop off dinner and meet this precious baby girl. She is so tiny and beautiful!!!!! I can't believe that just a few months ago, we were bringing Cash home. Here are some pics of Lola and then one from the first car ride home from the hospital with Cash.
