Walker 10 months

Wow! So close to one year. That blows my mind. Little Walkie is developing the cutest little personality. He wants to be where everyone is and I hear him scooting behind us wherever we go in the house.  He still only army crawls!  In the mornings I take him with me to get Cash up and he kicks his legs and squeals when we start going into Cash's room. He loves his brother!  When Walker wants something he wants it and wants it now!! He can be quite demanding at times :).  Food is still going well. He likes everything he is given so far. I remember when Cash was like that and it's so nice and convenient! I hope it lasts a while. He is also quite interested in Cash's little potty seat. Specifically the bowl that is removable. The other day I heard them both laughing SO HARD. I found them in the bathroom and Cash was putting the bowl (clean thank goodness) on Walker's head and then putting it on his head. It was a sweet brother moment that I hope will become a more frequent thing. 

Walker is getting more vocal saying "ba ba ba ba" " ma ma ma" all day long and in the car. 

Over the 4th of July weekend he became super mobile. From standing up every now and then to pulling up on everything! 

During naps and at night he sleeps with his little hiney in the air. So so cute.

Rest of our day

Wes spotted a deer with three babies in the lot next to ours. We could see them from Cash's window.

Saturday cash and I watched the new Planes movie with Brayden and Gavin. 

All three boys were so well behaved and loved the movie. Cristina and I were impressed (and relieved :)!

During the credits the boys played planes in the aisles. We were the only ones in the theater besides this one other boy and his mom so they had tons of room! 

The playing lasted outside on the way to the car. 

After the movie, Wes and Cash had hair cut appointments and then we met up with the Shrouts at their pool. No pics, which I'm sad about because we all had a great time. We stayed until 9:00! We cooked hotdogs and sausage and just hung out. Lola and Cash are starting to play and interact more with each other and that is fun to watch. Walker just hung out and tried to keep up with them. Pretty soon, all three kids will be playing and Lola's little sister (due in oct) will be watching them.

So far this morning, we have been hanging out. Walker and Sophie played ball for a bit.

Walker is full on bear crawling everywhere and tries so hard to stand up with out hanging on to something. This kid will be walking soon. 

Today we are going to try and get back on track with potty training. Cash was so resistant to it all day yesterday. It was his first time away from the house, besides daycare, and he just wasn't feeling the public restrooms. He also would tell me literally every 5 minutes he needed to go, so we would stop everything, go to the bathroom and then he would throw a fit and refuse to get on the potty. It was a long and frustrating day. I felt as though I spent the most of the day in the bathroom. One day at a time!!! 

Fri and Saturday so far

Walker has discovered Sophie's chuck-it. He doesn't not like to give it up!

Cash has done really well this week with potty training so I got him some new Planes toys. We are going to see the new movie later this morning with Brayden and Gavin. 

This morning I took Walker with me on a long walk. 

Hard to see, but there are three deer on the left. We saw a group of probably 15 deer around the back of our loop around the house.

And when we got home, cash made me take him around the house in the front of the stroller. Walker was laughing so hard!

Walker makes the funniest faces when he eats and drinks. 

And he is starting to "share" with Raley and Sophie.

Just because biscuit is so darn cute. I'm quite obsessed. 

And Walker received his first pair of shoes. He is really wanting to start shuffling around once he stands, so I went ahead and ordered a pair of pedipeds. They are adorbs. 

Walker is like a cat. If something is hanging, he is swatting at it.

Cash wanted me to take a picture of him with Raley. But he wouldn't sit still. 

No pants, tank top and one sock.

What a weekend

How was our weekend???? We started potty training. Let's just leave it at that. 

He isn't naked. Cash spent all weekend in his big boy underwear. 

He said he wanted to put his sword in his pocket.... Thi kid cracks me up. 

We spent some time outside pushing Cash in his red car. He still loves that things but never "drives" himself. 

He told Wes he needed a seatbelt so Wes made him one. Safety first! 

My mom was so awesome and watched Walker Friday night and Saturday so we could focus on Cash and the potty training. She actually kept both boys overnight Saturday so Wes and I could have Kristin and Mark over for dinner. It was so nice and a lot of fun. 

Sunday walker hung around and pulled up on everything. 

We played in the new grass, too. 

Wesley spent some time retrieving all of the magnets that Walker hides under the fridge.
