First trip to the dentist

The Shrouts have always talked highly of their pediatric dentist, so I made appointments for the boys because they are way over due. Like they have never gone---- I know--- judge away, it's pretty bad. So our appointments were today and the boys did an amazing job!!! 

This place is awesome with a cool fort and interactive floor in the waiting room. The boys loved it. 

After playing a little bit, the boys were called back to brush their teeth and start the cleaning. The boys had their own chairs and iPad to watch during the visit. 

Cash did a great job getting X-rays done. Walker's mouth was a little small to keep them in place with his mouth closed so we will get his next time. 

Cash did great during his cleaning. 

And Walker was a rock star, too.

After the dentist checked out their teeth, the boys got tokens for the prize machines. I'm telling you, this place thought of everything! It was a nice experience and the boys were so proud of their "shiny teeth". 

OU weekend 2016

The game this year could have gone either way. Both teams have been a bit of a mess this year, but we love going to the game in Dallas. My dad and Mary watched the boys for us and they had a great time!

Friday night we out to eat for an early bday dinner for Austin. It was so delicious!

Before the game 

We ran into Larry, Melissa, Cameron and Jenny while getting a beer. 

It was hot hot hot. There was not a single cloud in the sky. I am so sunburned and by the end of the game, I was spreading napkins on my arms for sun protection- ha!! Next year-- sunscreen and hat for sure. 

Myles and Shayna sat with us. Candice and Austin had there seats in another section. 

While we were out to dinner after the game, someone was snuggling with his Papa. 

And more Walker Bday

Today Walkie opened presents from Zsa Zsa and Paw Paw and he is over the moon. The first thing he did when I got home from work is show me all of his goodies. 

This Matchbox boat is awesome and I know Walker had been wanting one. Melissa gave Cash one a few years ago and it is probably the most played with toy in the house. They are a little more expensive than usual toys, but they are made really well and there is 4-5 toys built into one. The boys play with it in the bath or in the yard and it's the first thing Greyson gets when he comes over. So now we have another version of it and Walker is pumped! 

Walker is into Hot Wheels so he was excited to get news ones today. He takes one with him everywhere he goes.

The boys are already sporting Halloween shirts.

More birthday pictures

A gift from Amarillo was a lava lamp for each of the boys. Cash has had one in his room, but it stopped working and so he was excited. Walker loved that his is green. 

We went to the park yesterday for a little but the mosquitos are out of control so we didn't stay long. 

The boys slept together last night. They were up a few times, but other than that it went well. 

Jenny and Cameron sent Walker this adorable keyboard. Walker was so excited. It records and has different settings/songs, but the best part is the microphone. Walker is obsessed!

Katie and Joe sent a Blaze and the Monster Machines toy and this fun bath cream. The boys thought it was hilarious and we have played with it every night. 

Walker was spoiled rotten by so many people who love him so much. We are really lucky!!! 

Captain Walker turns three

We had a great time celebrating sweet Walkie yesterday. After he went to sleepThursday night, I set out his gifts and balloons to surprise him when he woke up. 

Dede gave him a lot of Captain Jake goodies. 

After presents was a birthday muffin.

While the boys were at school, wes and I re-did Walker's room as his big surprise. Turk and Memaw sent the bedding and it's perfect for our green obsessed Walker. 

Then we went to school to surprise Walker again with Kiwi the clown who did balloon twisting for Walker's class 

Dede ordered all of the goodies and they were delicious

The kids got to pick out whatever they wanted Kiwi to make and she was awesome 

When we got home, Hannah and Hudson brought a present over and it was a big hit!

Greyson came home with us and that was special treat for the boys. We haven't seen much of Greyson since he moved.  

Dear Walker,

It has been a fun year watching you grow! Your favorites right now are Captain Jake, Sherrif Callie, kitties, anything green, donuts and dancing. You can be such a cuddle bug, which is funny because you keep telling me I can't give you kisses anymore, only hugs. But every night you will come up to me and ask if you can sit in my lap and I love it every time. You don't have much of a sweet tooth, but will polish off a can of Pringles like none other.  Your teachers tell me how smart you are and how you give them the best hugs! I love you so much and am so proud of you!
