The bloody marys are to DIE FOR! so delish
Before leaving, we switched it up and played some ping pong.
After I pretty much just chased the ping pong around the room, we decided to go to Clark's Oyster Bar. That place has been on our "date night list" for a long time and it did not disappoint. They have half off bottles and discounted oysters on Saturdays. Pair that with a great porch for people watching and Clark's is now my favorite spot! I want to go back to taste more of the menu. The lobster roll looked amazing.
We wanted to have an early dinner or just appetizers at one of the places that Austin monthly had featured. Of course the one that I chose wasn't opened, but we had already paid for parking so we decided to hit up Capital Grille since it was nearby. It was so dark, I only took one picture.
The place was packed the entire time we were there. We had a drink, and shared the calamari... probably the best calamari I have ever tasted. It was spicy and came with jalepenos and banana peppers. We decided to stay a bit to have soup, salad and a side. The lobster macaroni was calling our names and it was as good as you would imagine. The shells were a little crunchy from the breading and cheese on top... O.M.G.!
We then headed home. Mission accomplished! Fun day with my main squeeze.
