Night before daycare

I'm scrambling around trying to make sure I have bottles and bibs, wipes and diapers...... ahhhhhhhh! I have a check list so I don't forget anything and have to go all the way back home. I'm kinda stressed out about it so I'll be happy when tomorrow is over!

We said goodbye to Grandma today. I know Cash enjoyed his time with her! She was so nice and cooked us dinner and did Cash's laundry. Wesley and I are so very fortunate to have family that helped us out this month. We truly appreciate everything that everyone did for us.

Al. Most. There

Cash is almost rolling over. I swear he did it this morning while I was getting ready, but I didn't get a pic :( here is one from yesterday that Melissa took. We have stopped swaddling during his naps but I think it is time to try a partial swaddle at night. Thanks B- for the suggestion! I'll let y'all know how it goes!

Hanging with grandma

Wesley's mom is in town until Wednesday to help us out these last three days before day care. Cash looks like he is having a pretty good time! :)

She also brought him the neatest gift of "my first pets". A little barn shaped toy that has smaller animals inside. If you squeeze them they make noises. Pretty cute! I know he will love them. Sophie did.... She almost ate the birdie, but we saved it ;)

Teething?!

This nugget loves to chew on things. I wonder if he is starting to grow his pearly whites?!?!

3 months

Wow! Cash is three months old today. We started our day off with some pictures to show everyone howcute this nugget is. (Thank you to Ryan and Griff for the adorable Osh Kosh overalls and striped onesie!)He is so sweet and generally a very happy and smiley baby. He has a big week ahead. Daycare!!!! I'm excited to start this new chapter. I really like the daycare we have chosen and I think Cash will enjoy meeting new people.

Oh and an update from yesterday: Cash still doesn't like the sling. Didn't capture a picture of the meltdown that followed the picture yesterday, but lets just say the sling is hanging in the back of the closet again ;)

Wesley and Cash cooking breakfast. We have a sling that Cash hasn't been too fond of. I think he is growing into it bc he looks pretty content here.
We are going to try and use it while we walk this trail near our home later today. Happy Saturday!

Last week with Bachan

Boy, we have had an amazing time with Bachan these past two weeks. I am so lucky to have had this special time with her. I forget how many people do not have a chance for their babies to know their great grandparents. Cash is so amazingly lucky and I know he loves his Hibachan. Everyday Bachan and I talk about how much Cash has grown since she has been in town. Yesterday Cash had another treat... He got to meet his Great Aunt Sandy! They had so much fun together. They went on a walk and read lots of books. Aunt Sandy gave Cash a bag of goodies so I will post about those later. We love you guys and cannot wait until we get to see you again.

Squeezing in a few more Zzzs

Don't worry, Wesley was awake. I wouldn't leave Cash on the bed with the puppies :) everyone is trying to squeeze in some more shut eye before the day begins.

Yummy dinner

I love the mcCormick Recipe Inspirations. They come with all the required spices and you just add the meat and a few other items. These apple and sage porkchops were the bomb! All we needed to add was brown sugar, apples and onions. I made buttery potatoes and steamed broccoli to go with it all. Deeeeelish!

Bath time re-visited

Cash Man still loves his baths. We had a heater installed in all bathrooms.... So so nice! They make a big difference during Cash's bath time. Almost no tears ever drop now. And if they do, it's not because he is cold, it's usually because he is overtired and I should have put him straight to bed. Look how huge he looks in the tub! He also loves his chubby feet rubbed. He stretches his toes and legs out.

One more thing from today

Cash is obsessed with his finger. I hear him sucking and slurping and when I look over, this is what I see....

12 weeks old!

Cash had his first real laugh today. I got a picture of it, too! It was low and so funny! I hope he keeps doing it

Bachan has a birthday and RAIN!

Yesterday Bachan celebrated her 79th birthday with Cash and me. We are so happy to spend her special day together! I brought home delicious hamburgers and fries just like Bachan requested :) they were huge!

It began raining yesterday and has not stopped! We have had a total of 2 inches so far and it is still coming down strong. I was bummed bc it cancelled my running date with Kristin, but there is always tomorrow. Sophie was NOT happy with the thundering and lightening (You can see her new hiding place is Cash's bathroom) but it didn't seem to phase the little nugget. He woke up rested and smiling!

Cable Knit onesie

Can you imagine a cuter outfit than a striped cable knit onesie? The doctors I work for gave Cash this precious outfit along with some adorable monkey shoes. I cannot wait to get him in these :) everyone has been so thoughtful

Two girls and a baby

Bachan and I are home alone with the little nugget. Wesley is off skiing until Sunday.

I got home from work and Bachan is cracking up!!! She immediately tells me how Cash "shot" Her. I looked at her confused and she said "he sprayed me!!!! Peed on my shirt!" oh my goodness. We both laughed so much. We then watched Cash hang out and talk to his animals in his mobile. He is so cute! After playing hard, he drank his last bottle and then we were off to the bath! We were just about finished and i was getting his towel ready when I noticed he pooped in his tub!!!! I couldn't believe it. So. Gross!!!!!

Thank goodness he looks so cute or i would have been mad ;) you can tell in one picture how Cash is starting to try and roll over!!!!

Harper

Sweet Baby girl Harper! Pam and Nash's little girl is growing and growing. I can't believe this is the same baby we saw a few weeks ago!!!! I can't wait to see her again and kiss those cheeks! I look forward to Cash and Harper playing with each other and teaching each other cools things :)

V Day follow up

Cash was pretty spoiled for his first Valentines Day. He received his awesome outfit from Dede, a cute card from Aunt Missy and Donnie, PLUS a new Aden and Anais sleep sack and wash cloths from his favorite people in Amarillo!!!! Cash gave Bachan some tulips for valentines day. He just loves his Hibachan. He laughs and stares at her. We have been enjoying every minute with her so far! So happy to have this week and all next week with her! She got her first lesson on how to take a picture using the iPhone.... Hilarious. Here are the pictures to prove it!
