Walker 9 months

Walker is still a good eater. I can't keep up with everything that he loves, but so far he doesn't like cantaloup. Walker will gobble down buttered noodles and graham crackers like it's his last meal. He finally has his first two bottom teeth. No sign of more to come just yet, but I'm sure that will change soon!  Walker plays with his hair and covers his face with his lovie when drinking his bottle. Cash changed Dino's name to Rocky. So Walker's lovie is now named Rocky. 

Walker gets so excited when you go get him from a nap. He wiggles and squeals when you walk in the door. It's so sweet! He is still army crawling everywhere and trying to pull up on more things.  He does not like to be left in a room if cash and I go into another room, even if for just a moment.  Daycare does not stick to a schedule so most days walker comes home very tired and fussy. He is always in a better mood on weekends when he can get some rest. He wakes up super super early..... And I don't think that will change until he is 16. I need a really good eye concealer if anyone has any recommendations :). 

Walker weighs 20 lbs 12 oz (50%) and is 30 inches long (90%). His head circumference is 45 1/2 (45%)

Little Walkie-

I can tell you have such a sweet soul. You love your brother and daddy so much! Soon Cash will want to play with you, but right now, you are still just a little bit too small. I get so many compliments on how handsome you are!!! You have such pretty eyes and full lips, a true heartbreaker I tell ya. We have a lot of fun things this summer lined up and I can't wait to see how you like the beach and traveling. I love you, Walker!!!! 

Oh and you still won't sit still for a second! Which is why your monthly update is late.... I couldn't get a good picture. The ones below will have to do!!!

Horseshoe Bay and lake Marble Falls

Friday I was able to meet up with some friends in horseshoe bay. Nicole and her boyfriend, Gene, were in Texas visiting from New York so a few of us went to play on the lake.

After the fun in the sun, tanner and Monica cooked us the most delicious fajitas. 

And then the twins gave us a private concert. 

Saturday, Cash and Wes met us and brought the boat. No pictures from that day, but we had so so so much fun!!! Cash loved meeting everyone and watching the boys wakeboard. We went to Sandy Beach and lounged around. The weather was perfect and the water was so nice! 

Sunday, we packed up and headed back to the lake with the Shrouts. Lake Marble falls was empty! We enjoyed hanging out with friends and swimming. 

Walker had a blast with Dede over the weekend. I was ready to see him when we got home from the lake. Wes gave him a new haircut. I don't know how long I'm going to keep it that way. 

Hi

Not too much going on here. I have a few pictures to share, but this week I didn't take my phone out much. 

We are transitioning to new electronic medical record software and the national trainer was in town this week to train us. We all had practice patients to help and someone had entered in Bobby Bones as a practice name. Naturally, I worked in his account. Lol

Papa Turk and memaw gave cash a leap frog a while back. He is getting old enough to play some of the games. He can do a lot of the "quizzes", but his little fingers can't get the right buttons going to play. He is really into this one game where you launch a pig from a sling shot. He laughs so hard and at the end of the game the narrator asks, "would you like to play again?" And Cash yells, "yeah way!"  It's pretty darn funny. 

Walker is always under the high chair. He thinks it is really funny. 

Yesterday after nap time, Cash played in the mud for about an hour! 

And then we waited for Walker to wake up because we were heading to the pool with the Shrouts. They have an awesome splash pad and pool in their neighborhood. Cash literally watched the monitor until Walker woke up! He was excited. 

Dede bought Cash a pirate dress up kit at the aquarium. He is quite obsessed with Peter Pan and Hook, so I knew he would love it. I gave it to him today after work and he won't take off the eye patch!!! 

Does anyone else pick their kid up from daycare and they look like a homeless person?! Walker is such a messy eater and most of it lands in his hair. 

And now we are playing in the pool inside the shop because it's so hot outside.

Scarlet the octopus

The coolest thing we saw at the aquarium was Scarlet. She is one year old and loves to eat. The staff said they place her food inside a mr potato head and she knows how to open it up, get the food out and then put it back together. That's pretty cool!!

Saturday we woke up and played for a bit in Cash's room. 

Then headed to the living room for breakfast. 

While we were waiting for Dede, walker played with a new-to-him toy. 

Cash's new game is "follow me!"

When Dede arrived, we headed straight to the aquarium.  

Jelly fish, sting rays, sharks and eels! 

Cash saw "tic-toc croc"

And biscuit got used to sitting in the front part of the double stroller. 

There is a cool obstacle course inside, too. 

We also got to feed the birds! 

Cash wanted the bird to sit on his arm. He did so well! He listened and stood very still. 

And right as we were about to leave the fish area, we spotted nemo!

And the creepiest thing we saw....

After nap time, we headed to the pool while Dede watched walker.  We saw Hannah Hudson Gavin and Braden!

This morning started off the same.
