Sunday Funday

Walker is starting to get up super early again. There were a few weeks when he was sleeping in, but he has been off schedule lately so he is up at the crack of dawn. So I took him on a walk this morning. 

He hit his eye on the table leg last night and has a little bruise. 

He didn't even last around the block. 

When we got back, Wes and I loaded up and hit the lake to run the boat for a bit. 

We didn't even get out of pajamas.

We found a new beach area to get out and explore. 

Cash tossed rocks and walked around. 

Then we headed back. See?! It was a quick trip.

Cash and walker both took three hour naps. At the same time. It was the most amazing afternoon ever. 

Afterwards, we took Cash to spend his potty training money that aunt bobby and uncle Wayne sent him. Papa Turk added to the stash so Cash had some money to spend! He was a bit excited :)

We hit up Target. 

And walked every toy aisle. 

And the irony of the trip was Cash pooped his pants while shopping for his potty training present. Hahahaha!!!

And a backhoe loader. 

Now it's bath and bedtime. Winding down from a really great weekend! We are very very fortunate. 

Late birthday celebration

We celebrated Papa Turk this evening. Walker hung out on Rhody while we waited for Cash to wake up. 

Cash calls my dad's car a limo and talks about a lot. As soon as our guests arrived, he wanted to look at the car. 

Then we headed outside to play with stickers and magnets. 

And walker found a bl to throw around. 

We ended the visit with a yummy dinner and delicious cake. Cash helped blow out the candles. 

Happy Birthday, Papa Turk!!!! We love you SO much!!!

Walker likes to hold the monitor and my phone up to his ear and says, "hu-do!"  It is the cutest thing ever. 

Friday, there were notes in Walker's backpack. 

 

While we were cooking dinner, Cash asked for his picture to be taken. 

And then we tried to do a selfie of all three of us.

Cash is napping and we are getting ready for Papa Turk and Memaw to come over for a late birthday celebration. Papa Turk turned the big 6-5 this year!!

Walker on the move

We brought down the push toys for Walker and he had so much fun last night pushing them around the house. The pics are blurry. I wish you could see the big grin on his face! 

Walker has been using the high chair so Cash has been eating meals at the picnic table. Our dining room chairs won't allow a booster (or at least the one we have) to stay securely fastened. Here is walker just hanging out with big bro. 

The week so far

Cash received a card and some money from Aunt Bobby and Uncle Wayne for doing so well at potty training. He gets to go pick out a new "treasure". I told him he has to share with Walker and he said "no way, my baby is small". Ha!

Sunday night we had a visitor in our bed. Walker woke up with an upset stomach and wasn't going back to sleep so he hung out with us. 

And walker's new obsession: the dog collars.
