Crawfish boil and burgers

The Olschefskies and Ketters came over saturday for a crawfish boil. Wes made a yummy batch and we all chowed down. All six of the kids played really well together. Walker kinda walked to the beat of his own drum, but would casually walk by the other kids to check them out.

Before people arrived, Walkie and I took some selfies.

And Cash wanted a picture of his "sad face". Haha!

But then I got a little smile out of him.

The guys hung out on the new lot.

It doesn't look like it, but all the kids had a really good time.

Saturday Cash and I went to Jack's birthday party and then the Rauhuts and Dabadies came over for some burgers.

Walker 18 months

My little Walkie is 18 months and thinks he is 3 years old. He is starting to sign "more" and "please" during mealtime and can be quite adamant, clapping his hand together if I don't respond quickly. He says "moooooo" when he sees a cow and squeals when he sees an elephant. Hamburgers are quickly becoming a favorite, but bananas are still in first place. Walker is so ticklish on his feet that he squeals so loudly when I put his socks and shoes on! This kiddo is so dramatic, too. He does not like it when people are in his space or when he gets his picture taken. Here is proof from his 18 month photo shoot.

What a stinker! As independent as he can be, Walker gives the best hugs. They are so sweet and intentional. He will just hug your neck and put his head on your shoulder. It's the sweetest thing ever. He still loves Paw Patrol and reading books before bedtime. We have been walking around the block after dinner and it takes forever because this little guy wants to walk the entire thing by himself. Mostly because Cash does, so he has to be right there with big brother. I am determined to get a good 19 month picture because Mr. Walker is so handsome! Wish me luck!

--- Edited to include that Walker loves singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. He gets his chubby little fingers together and does the movements of the song. Just love him!

Easter 2015 in pictures

Easter morning was spent hunting eggs at our house.

The kids dyed eggs with Dede the night before.

To have and to Tondre

Amy got hitched last weekend. The ceremony was beautiful, quirky and just perfection. I was bawling through their vows. The entire weekend was full of fun and friends. I am still recovering since I didn't get my 10 hours of sleep every night. I kid I kid... (Kinda)

Friday we met up with Nicole, who was in town from New York, and the Ketters for some Mexican food. It was pretty crazy, but my boys love the Ketter kids.

Technology to save us toward the end. Meltdowns were happening left and right.

Saturday Brandy and I organized a Polish Party for all of the wedding party. It was at Embellish Salon and it was such a cute place! The boutique had really cute stuff and I think everyone left with a new purchase.

Saturday night there was a fun welcome party in Buda and then we went bowling.  No pictures... Booo.

The wedding:

Rhianon in town from Dallas

Brandy in town from midland

Maggie was in town from Illinois

Sorry for the insta pics. They are the only ones I have, but many memories were made.  Loved this weekend so much!!!

Picture dump

Walker does everything Cash does, which can sometimes be a problem. Walker pulls down his pants every time Cash does to go to the bathroom in the yard.

We have been doing some donut stops lately. No complaints from the boys.
