Amarillo Mother's Day 2016

Amarillo was in town last weekend and it was in perfect time for Mother's Day. 

Cash made me a beautiful heart ornament and colored me a perfect picture. 

He also answered some funny questions.

Friday we went shopping in the Domain. 

And had yummy burgers at Mighty Fine. 

Saturday, we went to Lucy's Fried chicken. There is a new location on 620 with a pretty view. 

Then we hung out before heading to the movies. 

Molly and Ty showed the boys that app that will switch your faces. It was so funny

We are trying to find a weekend to get back to Amarillo this summer. Cash has asked to go "back to Bachans house to ride his rides!"  (He want to go to Wonderland!)

Friday the boys had their friend over from school. Reef and Kai came to play and eat pizza. 

Walker and Kai drove the truck all night.

The boys are leaning about weather at school and they wanted to practice their tornado drill. 

Kai wanted to cheers for their "fun night out".  And then he asked me why they were eating dinner when the sun was still up! Hahaha! 

We ended the night with a ride around the block.  

School pics and weekend recap

Cash loves his class activities. 

He is making friends, too. When he first began this class, we would constantly chew his collar and was so anxious some days. Now, he gives hugs to his friends and his collar is dry! He is doing really well 

Walker is doing well, too. A few kids were transitioned to the 3's, and his behavior has changed dramatically. The teacher said the vibe of the entire class has changed so that has been a good development.

The boys did this puzzle and asked me to come in the room with my eye closed. When I opened my eyes Walker yelled "surprise!"  Haha!

Sunday on our way to get donuts:

Cash insists that he gets in the car himself now and it takes him forever!!!! Wes's truck doesn't have running boards so he literally crawls in however he can 

Then off to the grocery store. 

And ending the trip with buddy bucks.

The daycare director sent me this picture of Walker. He got sent home yesterday bc he has been running a fever and while he was waiting for me to pick him up, he was coloring in her office. 

Llano crawfish boil

The Shrouts invited us to the Llano crawfish boil. It was so fun!!
