Lazy Sunday

I am so so tired today for some reason. We are having a lazy Sunday waiting on Wes to get back. 

Happy birthday Papa Turk

We were able to spend the day with my dad for his birthday. He turned 64 this weekend and Cash and I helped him

Celebrate. We went to their neighborhood pool and swam then played at his house until dinner. Before dinner he helped me with Cash at the park that was next to the restaurant. And then we enjoyed this amazing tres leches cake from HEB. It was the bomb!!!!

20 months

Little nugget is 20 months and about to be a big brother. I am about 8 months pregnant and ready for Walker to get here. 

Cash has been having lots of fun on the weekends lately. He is growing more fond of the water and that is where we are most sunny days. The lake and pool are our go-to activities as of late. He loves to splash around and kick his little legs. 

Almost all of Cash's teeth have come in. We are waiting on two that are poking through and then the last will be his molars. He is still doing really well with eating and sleeping. His love of veggies is still not back, but he loves frozen peas and vegetable medley with butter. He also began liking hotdogs again, which is nice bc I get in food ruts for him often.  Bacon is his favorite food right now.  He is talking more and more. His favorite word right now is "no".  I don't think he knows what it means because he will say it so randomly. When he really means "no", he shakes his head. We are still working on his utensil skills and that is starting to cause meal time to be messy, but he likes it. 

Wet weekend

I have zero pictures from this weekend which makes me sad. We had such a packed weekend full of fun and friends. This weekend was spent in the water every day. Friday we started off in our neighborhood pool. Cash is really starting to enjoy splashing and playing in the water so this is a great way to be outside and beat the heat! 

Saturday after breakfast we met up with Alexa and jack at Central Market to play and see Cristina and Jefe. They were in town from New York and this was the first time for Cash to meet Cassie's best friend. It was so special to have her and her hubby meet Cash. We enjoyed watching the kids play and catching up on life. Tina and jefe are so special to me and my family and I always look forward to our next visit. 

Saturday after nap time, we hit up Lakeway pool. This time Wes went with us and I think he had as much fun as Cash. Wes went down every slide, including the kids frog slide. Cash pretty much lives on that slide and gets right back in line after he slides down. We also enjoyed a snowcone as a snack. My personal highlight of the weekend. Then after a few hours of pool time, we had the Rauhuts over for dinner. Greyson and cash played so hard outside. They are starting to interact a bit more and play together, which is fun to watch. 

Sunday we wrapped up the weekend by hitting up the lake with the Rauhuts. The guys and Christi surfed while the boys snoozed on the boat. Then we went to beach the boat while the kids ran around in the water. 

We all slept like rocks last night :) 

The pictures I will post are from last week. Cash has been asking to take books with him in the car when we go places. Other pictures are from him enjoying his cinnamon toast breakfast and then playing in the ENT waiting room. He had a great check up and his tubes are looking good. 

Busy busy

That is what we were this weekend. Wesley's friend Tom and his wife and baby girl Callie came to visit. We packed the weekend with mexican food, fun at Cabelas, outside in the pool and eating watermelon. I was very surprised how much Cash liked perusing the aisles of Cabelas. I had forgotten that they had so many cool exhibit-type areas and even a neat aquarium. After the Kolanski's packed up and headed back to Houston, Wes went to the lake and Cash and I hung out with Greyson and Christi at the park. We followed that up with an afternoon at Lakeway pool. That place is awesome! Cash loved it. We will definitely be going there regularly. 

Ruiodoso

For the Fourth of July, we went to ruiodoso with Wesley's family. It was nice to get away from the Texas heat! I only have some pictures from one our morning walks. This morning I had another OB appointment and got to see Walker again. 

Play date with Jack

I have taken off this week to hang with the nugget. We met up with Alexa and Jack at central market for some play time and lunch! Perfect way to kick off the week
