We have been lucky to work with really nice hospital staff who have given us great alone time. Very respectful of our time and sleep, which is so nice. Walker has been doing really well, but today he is getting circumsized this morning so that may change. I remember cash being fussier once he had his done. We should be discharged tomorrow afternoon and we will go home and introduce the puppies to Walker!!

Walker Ryan Poth
He is here!! Born 9/30/13 at 2:04 am. He weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. And has a ton of hair!!! Everything went smoothly and we all are doing great. Cash-man came to visit and was just perfect. He was interested and then not interested. He would ask to hold baby and pointed out his tongue and eyes. Then we took some pictures of ourselves being silly on the bed.

Happy birthday, JC!
Friday my mom and I were able to meet up with Jenny Claire for her birthday. Since she is now a fellow longhorn, we hope to make this an annual thing :). Katie and joe drove in for dinner, which made it even more special. We went to the amazing Matt's El Rancho and it was packed! But we enjoyed queso, dinner and some yummy tres leches!!!!

22 months
Hank- cash recently discovered there are two of his loveys and he is so funny with them. He had a huge smile on his face and hugged and kissed them both. It was hilarious. He is pretty attached to them lately
New school: we love his teachers and classroom. Rough drop offs at the beginning but now runs into class. They are working on manners and he is doing really well saying please and thank you, which is the cutest thing ever!
words: hat, snack, mow mow (lawn mower) and mo mo (motorcycle), plane, star, pad (iPad), please, thank you
Likes:
to pick his nose- seriously- haha!
Melissa and Doug shape sorter Katie gave him
Points his fingers and says pow pow and acts like he is shooting things
Loves his shuttle suitcase from Turk
Preference in what he wears: lately he picks out his shoes and socks
Ring around the rosey
Pointing out planes in the sky
Still loves puzzles and the iPad
I recently taught him how to toast with your glasses and say, "cheers!"- so cute, but now we have to do it about 10 times during every meal- haha
These moments of just us three are winding down to an end. I catch myself looking at Cash and i want to remember exactly how he looks at this very moment. It's strange what becoming a parent does to you. He has stolen our hearts and a part of me is so sad that it won't just be us three anymore. I feel as though Cash is at such a fun age and he is our little buddy. He just watches everything and soaks it all up. Even his teachers at school have commented more than once how his eyes light up when he learns something new. The other day at the park a little boy told him to go away and tears came to my eyes. I know that one day his feelings will be hurt and I hope i can keep it together and not throw the kid across the park. But in all seriousness, I realized that I won't be able to protect him forever and it made me so sad!
Nugget,
We love you more and more every day. I'm so proud of being your mom! I can tell that you have such a good heart and such a sweet personality. You are going to be am awesome big brother!!!!
Love,
Mom

Mid week post
We had dinner with the Shrouts last night. Yummy lasagna and garlic bread. Who can turn that down? Cash and Lola had fun playing together. I think cash was showing off for her... He was squealing and running around. They held hands and sang ring around the rosey. How cute is that?! Lola is in a toddler bed and cash wouldn't get out if it- so funny.
Today my coworkers surprised me with a little baby shower. It was so thoughtful and I was completely surprised.

Happy birthday, Jackson and Hook 'em
Another great weekend in the books. We were able to go to the UT game on Saturday with friends. I kept thinking I wouldn't make it, but the closer we got to it, I really wanted to go. It ended up being a bad game, but we had a great time anyways and it may be the only game I make all season, so I was thankful our friends let us go with them.
Friday was Jackson's birthday party, but we weren't able to make it so Sunday, Cash and I headed to the Ketters to give Jackson our gifts. The party was a batman theme and Meredith made Batman capes for everyone. Cash wouldn't take it off!!! And while we were there, the twins stopped by, too!!!! What a fun surprise!!!! Cash just loves playing with Jackson and he was worn out when we got home. And don't get me started on Allie Ann. She is such a sweet and chill baby!!!! We played dress up and that was so fun!!!!

Last minute staycation
The Shrouts invited us to stay at the JW Marriott with them in San Antonio. We loaded up the car and kids and headed down on Friday after work. We got there just in time for dinner and some pool time. Cash also found a cute little boy to play soccer with. Saturday we got up early to have some yummy breakfast outside and then headed straight to the pool by his place is awesome!!! They have a large pool with multiple entries so its accessible no matter where you find a spot for your stuff. The splash pad areas had fun fountains and slides that both Lola and Cash enjoyed. The grown ups even enjoyed going down the tube slides. They were so fast and so fun! We went around the lazy river a few times, which was Cash's favorite part! After a quick lunch for the kids, we packed up and headed home. What a fun fun get away. Saturday night and Sunday we just lounged around and relaxed.

Last little getaway
We took Cash to the coast this weekend as a last trip for just us three! It was nice weather and Cash want sick this time so it was a great time! We went to Corpus Christi's aquarium and to the USS Lexington. Both were super neat! Cash was so well behaved and enjoyed both tours. Next time we will spend more time at the aquarium. They have a really cool splash pad!
Cash is really into ocean animals right now so the aquarium was perfect! The sharks were so big and scary.... Yikes! We saw a dolphin show, which was really neat and they had some beautiful fish. The jellyfish and sea horses were my favorite. :)
The USS Lexington tour was really cool and Wesley and I want to go back to spend more time because it was a tight squeeze holding Cash in most of the ship areas and it was HOT!!!! And I was pretty uncomfortable. And little nugget was so sweaty. But he enjoyed seeing all the jets and other planes.
We walked the beach one evening and played in the swimming pool at the condominiums. We also were able to meet up with the Stovalls who were in Rockport for the weekend. Sadly, I don't have any pictures, but Cash swam and swam in their pool with Penelope.
Sunday we headed home and ended up stopping by Cabelas so Cash could see all those animals again. We had a very fun and busy weekend! Today I have finished preparing for Walker's arrival. Something tells me he is going to be early. Hopefully I am wrong, but who knows! All bottles and pump parts are clean and organized! His room is finished and my hospital bag is (almost) packed.
What a memorable Labor Day! I am so thankful that we were able to spend this time with Cash and I really enjoyed spending time with Wesley. Its rare that we have an entire weekend of just us and i will cherish the memories we made. Hope everyone had a great weekend, too!
