Weekend recap

First of all.... 

I have been obsessed with Breaking Bad. Watch it. So good. 

Saturday Wesley and I took Cash to his first movie! We saw The Nut Job and it was pretty cute. Cash was a little wiggly and didn't  get the idea about staying in his chair, but thankfully we went to the theater that served food and he sat still once the food arrived. 

Isn't he the cutest?! He clapped after every preview! Haha!

Walker and I hung out while Cash napped after the movie. 

And we watched Breaking Bad. 

He is getting so strong! Recently we have been putting him in the crib on his tummy. After this nap, he woke up on his back! 

Sunday, Greyson and Christi went with us to The Thinkery. My mom bought us a membership for 6. The best gift! We can always go and take some friends! 

They have a cool painting area. 

And cash enjoyed the water area again and this time, I took a change of clothes! 

We then ventured to the indoor soft play area. 

And then headed to the play farmers market.

This weekend was one of my favorite so far since we welcomed Mr. Walker. 

And my new rings! My dad and Mary gave me two rings, one with Cash's birthstone and one with Walker's. I needed to get them sized and when I was there, I went ahead and added one for Wesley. A ring for each of my boys that I love so much!  

The weekend

Cash went to stay with grandma this weekend while Wes went to the ranch for a hunt. It was just me and the biscuit this weekend.  We went out and had some fun with my mom and I enjoyed time alone with Walker.  

Monday was a holiday so I stayed home with the boys. Cash spent all morning outside with his planes. 

We also played some baseball

Then, Cash wanted to sleep outside so he grabbed his giraffe and both his Hanks and set up on the back porch. 

Since our porch is so dirty, I offered to put Cahs's tent up. He immediately went to grab his tunnel and we started putting up at the tent. I didn't bring my phone in the tent to get a picture, but we all got in. Even Raley and walker. Sophie would drop her ball through the door so we would throw it for her. 

No, he didn't sleep there but we had a fun time pretending. 

That afternoon cash went to the park while I did piles of laundry. How does having one more baby in the house add  so much more laundry? It's incredible.  We had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful and the boys were in good moods and it was just a fun time.

Walker enjoys watching his piano play station on his boppy. It lights up and plays fun music when you tap a key.

Tonight Cash wanted to use his new paint kit that grandma gave him for Christmas.

The first "first"

This really isn't Walker's first first. He had his first smile and his first laugh but I feel like he's been doing that forever. Walker finally rolled over onto his tummy. He has been rolling on his side for a week or so.  I decided to not swaddle him last night because of this and this is what I woke up to this morning.  Another thing he starting to do is suck his thumb. So anytime anybody sees his thumb in his mouth everybody please take it out of his mouth. I don't know what else to do about this, especially at night when I don't know he's doing it. Around four in the morning last night he stirred a little and that's when I noticed he was on his stomach.  I went in there to move his head and he was sucking his thumb.  Please Lord I hope I'm not eating my words but I really don't want a thumbsucker.

Sunday Funday at the zoo

First, some pictures of Cash playing last night before bed. He has always been very good at playing independently, but now he is starting to imaginary play and it's cute to watch him. 

We kicked off our Sunday right by going to the zoo. There is a Junior League placement at th zoo doing guides tours and fundraising. I may look into doing that for next year. 

Here is the BIG lion. He was a little cranky and growled the entire time we were there. He even darted towards us when we tried to take pictures!! 

There are three beautiful tigers that were very active while we were there. 

My friend Maggie sent the boys matching beanies. How cute are they?!?!?!

The peacocks just roam all over the zoo. I saw at least a dozen.

On our way home we grabbed some BQQ for lunch and now all three boys and two puppies are sleeping. I'm doing laundry and reading. My New Years resolution is to read more. I found this website that listed some books that are turning into movies this year and thought that it would be a fun goal to read them and then go watch the movie. Plus it gives me a deadline for each book. I have already read a few of them, but it will still be a fun goal to have. Here is the link if you wanted to join me :)
