A day of birthday festivities

Friday night Katie came in town to see the boys.  She brought yummy alphabet cookies and Cash had fun spelling his name.

Then we hung out in the backyard while Wes took Cash to get a haircut.

And then bath time for the boys.

This morning we headed straight to The Thinkery for Jaxon's birthday.  The theme was Dr. Seuss and Nikki, Jaxon's mom, always has the cutest stuff for the events.

Look at that cake!

Cash wanted to show everyone his blue tongue from the suckers.

While we hung out with the party, Katie and Walker checked out the rest of the museum.

Then we tried to feed the ducks on our way out, but the geese were a little aggressive!

Once we escaped the geese, we ate a yummy pizza lunch.

After lunch, Walker took a really long nap, while Cash hung out in his bed for 2 hours talking to himself.

I had to wake up sleepy head because Hannah's birthday was at 4:00.  While Walker was waking up, Katie and Cash played outside.

And then we headed to Hannah's camping birthday.

Leah made the cutest campfire cake!

There were 3 tents and games set out.

And a scavenger hunt.

Sweet Ian

Then we got to roast some smores!!!

We ended the party with some yummy chocolate cake.

This week so far

Walker is getting some big teeth in this week.  He was very fussy yesterday, had a fever and would not let the teachers at school put him down.  You know Walker is not feeling well when he is cuddling with the teachers! ;)  I had to pick him up early so we headed home to chill out and help Walker feel better.

After some tylenol and oragel, he was back to smiling and showing me his tongue.

Cash and Walker love them some bubble baths.

I don't know if I will ever get a normal picture of Cash again.  He is so silly when I try.  I wanted to show you how Walker likes to share Cash's chair with him.  They obviously do not fit, but it is funny how Walker will slowly get closer to Cash when he is sitting in his green chair until Walker finally just sits in Cash's lap.  This was Cash trying to get up so he "put Walker away".

Today, Walker had a much better day!

And Mr. Man eating some crackers on the way home.

The boys love dancing to the Octonauts theme song.

We have a busy weekend coming up!  Birthday parties and
some family in town.  Yay!!!!

Walker 16 months

Walker turned 16 months on Friday.  Can anyone believe it?! He is still so serious and just watches and follows kids around.  He loves bubble baths and the orange Mopi.  He dances with Cash when the Octonauts theme song comes on and is obsessed with Paw Patrol!  Walker will show you his eyes, nose, ears, hands and tongue.  He says "Aaaaaayeeeeee" for Raley and "no-no" (mostly to the dogs).  When this kids does not get his way, he is the biggest pouter.  He will walk away and cross his arms and not look at you.  If you do not respond, he will walk a little closer to you to make sure you can see him.  It is pretty funny.  Poor Walker is a pretty bad teether.  He gets a low fever, is fussy and gets diarrhea.  It is no fun for anyone. Something new for Walker is his helmet that Melissa gave him for Christmas.  We finally sized it and started using it during his tricycle rides.  You can tell from the pictures that he thinks it is really cool!

And Mr. Cash Man still rocks his helmet as well!

Case's birthday party and donuts with Greyson

Case turned one last weekend and we were excited to help him celebrate.  Wes was out of town, so it was just me and the boys.  Saturday before the party, we worked on some puzzles and played outside.  The weather was gorgeous.

After nap time, we went to Gymboree for the birthday party.  Playing under the parachute was a big hit.

The cupcakes and other goodies were a hit, too.

Sunday morning we went to Greyson's for more donuts.

The boys played a while before we decided to take them to the Thinkery.  I wish i had pictures, but it was so crazy keeping up with both boys.  They had a great time and were on their best behavior.  We even took them to CiCi's Pizza for lunch on the way back home.  All of the stars were aligned because we were able to eat without a single meltdown!  Score!

That night, the boys were pretty cute in the bath.  Walkie loves Cash.

MLK

I had the day off and daycare was closed so we invited Greyson over to play for the day.

We went to the park and the boys played well with each other.

The day flew by and it was a lot harder to take pictures of the boys.  They were busy busy!  We also painted and played in the backyard. Cash was really sad to see Greyson go home.
