These are the days I love!

Started the day by saying bye to Dede. Sad!!!!!!!!! This week was so nice because she was here helping. Once she was on the road, Cash and I went for a run in the hood followed by a stop by the grocery store. We invited the Shrouts over for dinner and I needed some last minute items. After the grocery store and some snoozing, we had a little pool party for two in the backyard. I am so sad I didn't take any pictures of our dinner, but it was yummy!!!!!

Busy Friday

Cash had his 6 month check up with the doctor. His stats are:

Height: 29 1/4 in
Weight: 20.01 lbs
HC: 44 1/2 cm

He is huge! And quite the charmer at the doctor's office. The nurses love him and he was in a good mood. It's hard to find a time that they have available and that works with his nap time. I've made the mistake of making it right when he is supposed to go down. Wow.... Lesson learned! We are being referred to a pulmonary specialty group at Dell Children's to get his cough checked out. It very well might just be allergies but we are going to get another opinion just in case. He has been up coughing a few hours every night for about a month and then constant through out the day. it just breaks our hearts, not to mention leaves us cranky cranky parents!!!! I will keep you posted. Friday night was Dede's last night so she let us go out for a date night while she watched the nugget. We had such a good time and I know Cash enjoyed himself because he slept so well :) We only have pics from our date night and one from Cash this morning chillin on the bed with Sophie. And a side note.... My Belly button is making a come back... It doesn't look like a frowny face anymore.... I rejoice ;)!!!!

Wesley is out of town for work this week, which usually leaves me one anxious mama. It's hard to do it all on your own on a weekend and even more so while juggling work. I was so happy and relieved when Dede could come and hang out with us. She brought Cash two puppets. He. Loved. Them. He really likes the monkey, which is in the pictures below. We had a yummy dinner and shopped a little in the galleria. We came across the foam alphabet puzzle floor pieces and I was so happy. I've been looking for them and most styles I find are expensive but these were priced perfectly and a gift from Dede. Cash loved playing and rolling on them. He might have even licked them once or twice ;) his cute Hawaiian shirt and shorts are from Aunt Bobby and Uncle Wayne. So ridiculously cute on the nugget.

Walk in the hood, Target and Snowcones

Is there a more perfect way to spend a Sunday? I think not.

This morning Cash and I set out for a long walk in our neighborhood. It was overcast and breezy. Perfect walking weather! We then headed to Target to look at new car seats. It's hard to believe that Cash has almost outgrown our current one. My Amarillo family had a seat cover made for us and we got to use it for the first time today. Cash loved being able to look around while seated in the shopping cart and just giggled and laughed a lot. He was pretty darn cute :)

After Target, we went to eat snow cones and enjoy the weather outside. I also wanted to add something to our "Cash Hearts" post. I cant believe I left out his remote control that Dede gave him. He loves this thing. It plays so many different songs and lights up. It entertains him for so long. We made sure to get stocked up on the right batteries.
